1. Certified Wastewater Treatment Plant & Pump Station Operators
Diamondhead Water & Sewer District is accepting applications for the position of Wastewater Treatment Plant & Pump Station Operator. Position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of water wells, sewage treatment plant, sewer pumping stations and related facilities. Applicant must:
* Have considerable knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of municipal water and wastewater treatment operations, maintenance procedures, and general administrative and management practices.
* Have knowledge of local, state and federal regulatory requirements governing water and wastewater processes.
* Be able to provide training and assistance to other plant operators.
* Possess or have the ability to obtain within 90 days a valid Grade 3 WWT Certificate and Class D MS Water Certificate.
Starting salary is commensurate with education and experience. Benefits, E.O.E. Background check, physical and drug screening required.
Diamondhead Water & Sewer District is accepting applications for the position of Utilities Maintenance Field Supervisor. The ideal candidate would have:
* Considerable supervisory experience in Municipal water distribution & sewer collection systems operations.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Thorough knowledge in organizing daily work schedules

* Thorough knowledge in organizing daily work schedules, planning and accurately reporting progress of work crews.
* Class B CDL w/Air Brake Endorsement, or obtain w/in 6 mos.
* MS Water Distribution License, Class D, or obtain w/in 1 yr.
* HS grad or GED, or obtain w/in 6 mos.
Starting salary is commensurate with education and experience. Current salary range is $37K-$53K, plus benefits. E.O.E. Background check, physical and drug screening required.
