**UPDATE: THE PRECAUTIONARY BOIL ORDER HAS BEEN LIFTED**

**EMERGENCY WATER SHUTDOWN ON SECTIONS OF MAKIKI DRIVE AND MOHONUA PLACE**

Emergency water service interruption on Tuesday 2/06/24 due to a broken valve.

Water service is expected to be restored this afternoon. To see a map of the area click here.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this emergency repair work.

Precautionary Boil Water Notices will be issued to those residents in the affected area. 

During emergency shutdowns water line sediments being disturbed can sometimes cause discoloration in the water.  This is not harmful, and the water is safe to drink. 

If this occurs in your lines, a simple flush of your faucets for a few minutes should clear up the cloudiness that can sometimes occur.

When the precautionary boil water notice has been lifted, those residents will be notified.
